VOUDT originated during the corona pandemic where a lot of activities were not allowed. For us, that meant looking for a way to capture all our date ideas in a fun way for when everything would open up again. Because the list of dates, trips and activities turned out to be so long, we divided these ideas into categories and engraved each with its own colour on wooden popsicle sticks.
To keep us surprised which activity we were going to do first, we came up with a way to choose as randomly as possible what we want to do that day, that weekend, or that one evening together. From this, our first concept of the Willy-Nilly popsicle jar was born! Now you will think, what is a Willy-Nilly popsicle jar?!
If someone does something 'Willy-Nilly', they do it without planning in advance.
